I often eat at one of the friendly location in cranston store # 0672 and the people was so nice, polite and friendly. Loved the delicious foods and enjoyed variety of the ice cream. I also like to take my family there to eat because its still affordable.

  3. On July 23, 2012, Me and my 2 daughters went to the Friendly's restaurant in the Freehold Mall, Freehold N.J. It took several minutes before ANYONE acknowledged my family standing in the restaurant waiting to be seated and this was at 3:00pm on a Monday afternoon. After finally being seated, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Salad. When the server put the salad in front of me, there was a very large dead bug stuck to the top of a cherry tomato. It looked just like "the cherry on top of the cherry tomato". The bug in my salad was plain to see as not only did I immediately see it, but so did my kids. The bug was stuck upside down with its wings "glued" to the top of the tomato - you couldn't "blow it off". It was obvious it had been on the tomato for some time by the way it was stuck and hadn't just "fallen in the salad" on the wat to the table. I handed the salad back to the server, told her to take a look at the tomato, and told them to take the salad off my bill. Not even 5 min. later they brought "another" salad (or should I say the "SAME" salad). It was completely obvious it was the same salad and plate. Really??? There was no way they could have re-cooked the chicken in the short time it took to come back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I refused the "NEW" salad as I had lost my appetite and told the server it was evident that their salad greens were DIRTY! The manager came to our table more than 15 minutes later - all he said was "Sorry about that"! DISGUSTING! We won't go back!

  4. I love friendly's its so delicious but when i get my ice cream i notice they dont always use gloves and its just not sanitary.

  5. My son and I just got home from Friendlys on Union Road in Cheektowaga NY and let me tell you that was the worse place we have been to for dinner. The place stunk so bad like mildew that it made you want to puke. You couldn't even enjoy your dinner because it was so bad plus the service sucked. My son and I have been going to Friendlys for a long time and after tonight we will never step foot in another Friendlys again.

  6. I took my grandson and daughter-in-law for supper on March 9th 2013. They gave me the wrong check but never said anything until I had paid the check. They then said that I needed to pay my check which was $10 more. They couldn't give me a cancelled receipt for the one I had already paid and they wouldn't be responsible for any charges incurred if my bank charges me any charges if while waiting for the charges to come off. I spoke to the night manager and he said that it happens 1 or 2 times a night. That is not acceptable. Nothing was offered in the way of an apology or good faith. I find this unacceptable.

  7. I visited the Friendly's in Gates, New York with my family recently. I read all the comments written before this and need to say that I have never had a bad experience dining there. Our waitress Olha K. was great. We were seated almost immediately, the service was great and the food, as always, delicious. I've been a patron of Friendly's for years and have always enjoyed it.
